Terms of service
These terms are between [Company legal name, LLC] ("we") and the laundromat business that signs up ("you").
The service
We provide software for running a laundromat: orders, online booking, payments through your own Stripe account, texting, machine control and related tools. Features depend on your plan.
Your account and staff
You're responsible for your staff logins and for what is done under them. Owners must use two-step sign-in. Give each person their own login with the lowest role they need, keep passwords private, and turn off logins for people who leave the same day. Review your staff list at least every three months.
Your data
Your business and customer data belongs to you. We keep it separate from every other customer, use it only to run and support the service, and don't sell it. When you leave, you can download an export, and we delete it within 30 days (backups roll off within a further 30 days) unless the law requires us to keep it. Audit records of account activity are kept for up to 7 years.
Data processing
For your customers' personal information you are the controller and we are your processor / service provider. We process it only on your documented instructions (these terms and your use of the dashboard); make sure the people who handle it are bound to confidentiality; protect it with the safeguards described in our privacy policy; use only the subprocessors listed there (we'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a new one so you can object); help you answer customer requests to see, correct, export or delete their data (the dashboard has tools for this); and delete or return it when you leave. You're responsible for having a lawful basis and giving your customers any notices the law requires.
Security incidents
If we learn of a breach affecting your data we'll tell you without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours, with what we know, and help you meet your notification duties.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms. Card numbers never touch our servers. You're the merchant: refunds, chargebacks, taxes on your sales and your yearly PCI self-assessment (usually SAQ A for Stripe-hosted checkout) are yours. Lavamigo payments fee: on online card payments made through Lavamigo you pay Stripe’s standard rate (charged by Stripe) plus a Lavamigo payments fee of 1.5% of the payment, unless your written agreement with us sets a different rate. It is deducted automatically from each payment before it reaches your bank. Cash, coin and payments taken outside Lavamigo are never charged. Monthly plan prices are shown on lavamigo.com.
Text messages
You'll only text customers who agreed to receive texts or who gave you their number for their order, send promotions only to people who opted in to promotions, honor STOP and other opt-out requests, avoid texting before 8am or after 9pm local time, and follow carrier registration rules (A2P 10DLC). Texting is switched on once your 10DLC campaign is approved.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service for anything illegal, for spam, to text content carriers prohibit (for example cannabis, firearms, alcohol or adult content), to probe or overload our systems, or to access another business's data.
Machine boards
Boards must be installed on the low-voltage coin-signal line by a qualified person, following the machine maker's safety rules. You're responsible for your equipment and its installation.
Plans and billing
[Plan prices, billing cycle, how to cancel, and auto-renewal terms - shown clearly next to the subscribe button before any purchase.]
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service running, back up data daily and test restores, but can't promise it never goes down. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the [12] months before the claim.
Changes
We'll tell you about material changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect.
